How we arrive at a result

We start with your goal, share the work among several members of our team, and a person always answers for the result.

Our first question

What do you want to achieve?

We start with the goal, not the document

Before we draft a contract, we ask what you want it to achieve.

Goal first

  • First we ask why

We find out what you want to achieve and where the matter should lead.

  • We analyse the situation and its impact

We weigh up how likely the possible scenarios are and what they would mean for your operations, finances and relationships with partners.

  • Only then do we write

We build the document around what it needs to cover. We use a template only where it helps.

Document first

  • The brief is taken as it comes

Nobody asks what the document is for.

  • The contract follows a template

It fits a generic case, not your company.

  • The consequences show up later

You find out what the document missed when something goes wrong.

Three levels of work

We divide the work by level, not by area of law. That way several people look at your matter and you never get the output of just one person.

  1. Purpose and structure

We clarify what the work should achieve, what your options are and how the whole solution will be built.

  2. Design of documents and systems

We work out which documents and rules you will need, what they must contain and how they fit together.

  3. The drafting itself

We write the actual text. This is where technology helps us most, but a person from our team always reads and checks the finished text.

We work on site with you

We are lawyers in the field. The best place to understand the context of a decision is at your business.

  • We walk through your operations

We regularly tour production and operations with our clients to see connections we would never spot on paper.

  • We come to you

We travel to meetings with clients across Moravia and, when needed, abroad.

  • Documents that match reality

We write contracts and internal rules around how things really work at your company, not around a generic idea.

Technology and AI, openly

We use AI. You always deal with a person.

We are open about using artificial intelligence and automation, and we welcome anything that makes our work better. They help us with research, alternative solutions, draft wording and spotting mistakes.

But a person stands at the beginning and at the end. A lawyer from our team prepares the brief, a lawyer reads and checks the finished work, and the responsibility for it is ours, not the tool's.

  • Your emails and calls are answered by a person from our team, not a chatbot
  • At the end we compare the result with the original brief
  • We entrust confidential information only to tools within our secure company environment

Training for companies

We train people who deal with partners and sign contracts every day, in person at your company or online.

  • International trade

Incoterms 2020, the CISG, carriage under the CMR and contracts in English.

  • Contract practice

How to read a draft contract, what to watch for and when to bring in a lawyer.

  • Built on your documents

We base the training on your contracts and on situations from your business.

  • Even if you have your own lawyer

We do not replace your lawyer. We give your sales and purchasing staff confidence in the decisions they make every day.
